Mattawa Island's to Aikenhead Island
on West Bay of Lake Nipissing

Aikenhead Island so named by the owners of this
historical island. A quick stop on the southwest side of
the island is known to pay with walleyes, pikes and
bass. A person should not ignore the north side of the
island where a few smaller islands are located.

Walleye: From opening in mid May to
Mid August
Northern Pike: From opening in mid May to
closing mid October
Bass (largemouth and small mouth): From its
opening 4th Saturday of June to mid September
Musky: From its opening in mid June to end July
and Mid September to end of October |
