Cabin 2
Cabin 2 is a log style cabin with an addition that was added on probably in the late 60's to accommodate a kitchen and a 4-pc bathroom. It sits next to but far away from Cabin 1 high above the lake with a tremendous view of West Bay.
The building was remodeled inside in the early parts of 2002. It is completely finished with White Pine V Joint lumber. It is an extremely clean cabin where inside you will find a kitchen, living room and dining room area with cathedral ceiling, and two bedrooms with 2 single beds per room which sleeps 4.
Amenities included are electric stove, refrigerator/freezer, small chest freezer, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, silverware, dishware, basic pots & pans, television with DVD player for DVD viewing only, outdoor propane barbecue with picnic table and outdoor fire pit. For our Housekeeping cottages we are providing mattress protectors/pads & fitted sheets only. You NEED to bring your top sheet, blankets, pillows & towels.
This cabin is heated by an individual room electric baseboard heater so that you may warm the cabin up for those cooler early spring and late fall days. Ceiling fans one in each bedroom, One in the Kitchen and two in the living room/dining area for those hot summer days. Please note that this cottage has hot and cold running water that is potable for drinking purposes and tested monthly.
The two closest buildings to it are Cabin 1 and Cabin 3A, each approximately 500 feet away. The cabin location provides privacy to our guests. It has a shared dock with Cabin 1, app 50 foot long by 6 foot wide and electricity to it is from the Cabin app 200 foot away. It is able to easily fit up to 2 private or rental boats. This cabin is boat access but can be walked to via the 200 foot long suspended bridge. Approximately a 6-minute walk from the main lodge.
