Cabin 3A

Cabin 3A sits a little further but not too far back from the shoreline. It is a large framed log siding cabin built in the late 60's as the result a very influential guest's request for a place to house a large group wishing to play poker to the wee hours of the morning. This gentleman always stayed in cabin 2. This way he could retire to bed whenever he wished, leaving the party behind still in full bloom.

The cabin is rustic but extremely clean. Inside you will find a large kitchen, a large dining and living room area with a nice fireplace with an insert and two four-piece bathrooms. It features four bedrooms which have two beds per room, one single and one double bed which sleeps 8.

Amenities included are electric stove, refrigerator/freezer, small chest freezer, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, silverware, dishware, basic pots & pans, television with DVD player for DVD viewing only, outdoor propane barbecue with picnic table and outdoor fire pit. Our Housekeeping cottages are now provided with bed linens & a light blanket, you may want to bring a sleeping bag for those cool nights and be sure to pack your own pillow & towels as those are not provided.

This cabin is heated by an individual room electric baseboard heater so that you may warm the cabin up for those cooler early spring and late fall days. One ceiling fan over the dining room table for those hot summer days. Please note that this cottage has hot and cold running water that is potable for drinking purposes and tested monthly.

The two closest buildings to it are Cabin 2 and Cabin 3, each approximately 500 feet away. It has its own dock 50 foot long by 6 foot wide, able to easily fit up to 4 private or rental boats with electricity available from Cabin app 250 feet away. The cabin location provides good privacy to our guests. This cabin is boat access but can be walked to via the 200 foot long suspended bridge. Approximately a 5-minute walk from the main lodge.
